Come on, we're talking about two little girls here. We could do hearts and love notes every day!
I saw this idea on pinterest and had to do it. There are so many things on there that I could take or leave but this one was perfect! I just attached cheap candlesticks to little tin mailboxes and wala!- A new Valentines tradition.
Every day for the past couple weeks I've been putting little notes and chocolates in the girls mailboxes. It was so much fun for them and me! I felt like the notes I wrote Rachel went straight to her little mind and stuck there (at least for 30 minutes- which is GREAT!). She was so proud of her notes and would carry them around and ask everyone to read them for her. I've gotta admit- it made me feel pretty good about myself! *pats on back*
Here they are... they got a little something extra for Valentines Day- some silly putty and "Daddy Books"...
"What else is in there?" Gotta love that chocolate face. I gave her a Hersheys kiss and a Dove chocolate- she definitely liked the Dove better. like Mother like Daughter...
Can you guess what Maggie liked best? The lollipops were a hit too! Forget the love notes and just give me the candy!
I tell her to smile pretty and she cocks her head! Oh Rachel! haha...
Checking out their "Daddy Books"...
Never abandon a lollipop. Someone might just pick it up and claim it as hers. That someone would be Maggie...
Happy Valentines Day to one and all! I hope you ate some chocolate, I know I did! ;)
