spoiled rotten

Yes, I have been spoiled rotten recently.  Let me prove it to you...

I've been dreaming about owning a chariot carrier for like... well forever.  But they are 600 bucks plus 100 more for every "kit" (strolling, running, biking) you buy.  So, in the end they cost something around 800 bucks. Holy Smokes!
Guess what I found on craigslist????  A DREAM COME TRUE!  This one is called a croozer, it's not as fancy as the chariot, but I think it's even cooler.  Cuz!, it's a stroller, jogger, and bike trailer all in one!!!! And it was wayyyyy cheaper!  Incredible, don't ya think?

Next, something I stuck my nose up at the first time I was pregnant... a recliner.  I thought recliners were clunky and awkward, and refused to have one of those in MY baby room.  I insisted we get a glider, cuz they are just prettier.  But let's face it, they aren't as comfy and they are difficult to fall asleep in.  At least the ones in my price range.  So, we searched and searched all over Houston for a micro-suede recliner, and we found one!  Tyler was going to make sure that I got one this time... and after the millionth furniture we finally found one in our price range- and even got the floor model tax free! It's funny how your views of things change.  Ain't she a beauty?

And lastly, my best friend is home! (he's been home for a couple weeks) BUT HE'S STILL HOME!  Rachel has been having a blast playing with her Daddy.

I am one lucky girl.

Sweet Home College Station

We went to Aggieland this weekend and GOODNESS GRACIOUS!- I cried coming in and then I cried leaving.  Oh how I love Aggieland.  It will always be home.

We met up with all our friends at Raising Canes.  It was a blast!  Nothing like chicken fingers and good friends! We also had to hit up a tent sale (of course), and then went to a BBQ out at a friends house.  I wish we could have stayed longer and visited more people, so I guess we'll have a save that for our next trip.

I'm also proud to announce that the Fightin Texas Aggie Football team BTHO F.I.U!!!!!!!! 3-0 baby.
 good times.

On the way... I love how she fell asleep with her sunglasses on.

Rachel and Davanee- buddies since birth!  These two aggie girls wouldn't look at the dang camera! Except in this one. :)  And uh... Miss Rachel, didn't I tell you to stop stealing Davanee's fries?  Busted.Photobucket

Those two turkeys again- I couldn't help but reminisce a little.  Look at our little chublets!Photobucket

water baby

Normal nightly routine= dinner, bath, scripture power, prayer, singing, bed.
Tonights routine= dinner, bath, sprinklers, scripture power, prayer, singing, bed.

After bath-time Rachel and I went outside to see what Daddy was doing.  As soon as the front door opened, it was apparent that Daddy was fixing a sprinkler head.  Rachel didn't hesitate: BAM! She was all up in that water.  As I watched my freshly bathed, sweet Johnson's and Johnson's smelling baby run out the front door toward the sprinklers, all I could think was, "I better go get the camera!".

I mean... you've gotta mix it up every now and then. :)

It's like rain on your wedding day...

It did rain on my wedding day.  I love the rain. When it rains it just seems like the earth gets all sparkly-clean again.  And the sunshine came out just in time for pictures- perfect.

Dear Mr. Payne,
Happy 4th Anniversary!  I love you so much. I can't wait to see you!
Mrs. Payne

And guess what??? Our daddy comes home tomorrow!  Just in time to celebrate. :)

take cover!!

Ladies and Gentlemen: The time has come.
Attitude and Sass have officially arrived.

All I did was point my camera at her and say "NO!" in a stern voice.  It was just too easy.
