Super Cool Party People

So all these post are completely out of order. I'm going through all my SD cards 
and picking and choosing which blogposts to do. Right now it's about gaining momentum, so order 
doesn't really matter to me at the moment. haha!

We went down to Houston for Nana's birthday back in November. 
We went out to a FANTASTIC cajun restaurant. Luckily the weather was nice and they 
had a large patio for the girls to play.

These pictures of her just made me happy. She's growing up so fast.

I remember looking through the lens at this shot thinking, "WOW! THOSE EYELASHES!"

And then we went to our favorite dessert place... DESSERT GALLERY!

Donut Dude

Sometimes we surprise the kids with donuts on Saturdays.
They all squeal like little piggys when they see that chocolate sprinkle donut!
YEAH!

Those eyes... {sigh}... he has no idea what he does to me!
Donuts are a "GO!" for this little dude! 
Maybe he'll make a good cop like his Pop and Uncle one day... 
He's already got the donut eating down pat! And that is after all the main requirement right!?!?!
heehee!

Our Favorite Kind of Night

Our favorite kind of night consists of a walk to the railroad tracks...

The girls always say- "Let's go to the woods!"

A walk to the railroad tracks isn't complete without our Dixie dog.

The kids were so amused with this huge pothole that had filled up with muddy water on the side of the road. It pretty much made their whole night. Seriously, happiness comes too easy for these littles. I want to be more like them when I grow up.

Different Wiring

The girls frequently go and pick flowers from our front yard.
They've been picking flowers since they could crawl.
Luke starts swatting a bush...

Then he spots something...

I went over to see what he spotted... A sprinkler head! hahahaha!
Forget those dumb flowers!
Boys ARE wired differently.
Such a boy and I love him!!! 

Christmas Morning 2014

In all five years of photography shooting I have yet to get a good Christmas morning shot.
Jeez Louis. 
Like clock work the kids came into our room around 5:30am.
Luke even woke up. 
I guess it's time!
"Okay you can come down!!!"

All the girls wanted for Christmas were dress ups. 
I poked and prodded... How about a bike or roller skates?
Nope.

I dreamed this up... and Tyler executed. Love that man.

Christmas is a huge boost to a parents ego. haha!

Christmas Eve

I don't know about you guys but I think Christmas Eve is far better than Christmas day!
It's just so magical. Everyone is happy. Everything is ready. 
Everything feels good and excitement is in the air!

After reading the Christmas story from the bible, talking/acting out the baby Jesus story, and reading the Cajun night before Christmas, the kiddos got to open their Christmas Eve gift.

And then the kids finally went to bed and Tyler and I watched a Christmas movie and set up for the big day!
Being a parent is the BEST THING EVER!!!

Christmas Cookie Deliveries

So I about died doing Christmas cookies this year! I don't know what it was but it was CRAZY! 
Despite the craziness, the kids LOVED it like they always do and it was a blast.
Instead of decorating pictures this year, I decided on delivery pictures (just to mix it up!).

The girls got all dressed up in their pretty Christmas dresses and raced to every door... there were some skinned knees! The girls about started wrestling in the walkway to beat the other one to the doorbell! Goodness Gracious! 
PEACE ON EARTH PEOPLE! hahaha!

They still love each other though... almost can't tell that anyone was bawling before this shot! haha!
