3 Years

4 years ago I was a fish in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M. All my friends went to different schools (mostly BYU), but I wanted to do something different. I didn't want to get married so I picked the most unlikely place to meet a Mormon boy who happened to be a returned missionary, eagle scout, wrestler... and my soul mate. The first time I went to church I hitched a ride with the corps Chaplin, hopped in the back seat, and there was Tyler. I thought he was arrogant, very blunt, too old for me (we're only 3 1/2 years apart) and hot. haha. He asked me which institute class I was planning on going to and then showed up. After that... it was pretty much over. I put up a fight, but I didn't win. And I'm so glad I didn't.

I thought marriage would be a prison, would hold me back. It is true that marriage does require sacrifice, but I've learned that through sacrifice so much more is gained than whats lost. Tyler has supported me, and I have accomplished things that I never thought I'd be able to accomplish. And we've had a BLAST. I'm so grateful to have such an awesome husband. I love you babe!

Love it. Such a simple show of true love. Even while you fought it, everyone already knew you were bound to "lose". ;) Y'all are an awesome couple/family. :)
