Concert time!!!

Tyler and I went and saw Toby Keith at the Houston Rodeo last weekend! It was a blast! The last time I went to the Rodeo was when Tyler and I were dating... good times.. and well we thought we'd go again, especially since we've got free babysitting in Houston! (thanks mom and nana!)
Anyway, the whole weekend was just awesome! Rachel even got to try her first double doozie cookie from the Great American Cookie Company in the Mall... lets just say it was a hit! :)

One step at a time...

I've been really trying to get good at taking pictures on the manual mode of my camera... all these are manual mode... It's fun to experiment with different times of day, like the first one was around 5 o'clock, and the other two were around 2 o'clock. Its hard to find that perfect balance of shutter speed and f-stop, but I think it's fun to experiment. I think it also just depends on your own personal style as a photographer. (I'm still trying to find mine :)) There are some days were I think... "I'm never going to be any good at this!", but then I look at that last picture and think... One step at a time Jessica, you can't be the best at this all in one day!

Thank goodness spring is coming! It's finally nice enough outside to take nice long walks to the park. Rachel and I are outside girls. yipppppeee! :)
