Projects

It's taken me FOREVER to finally take these pictures! And I'm so glad that I did!

My wonderful friend, Cheylee, taught me how to make pettiskirts, and with her help finally completed one for Rachel. Didn't it turn out so cute? Cheylee is actually starting a pettiskirt business, and once I have the info I'll post it! I wish I were as talented as her, she is amazing! Thank You Cheylee!!!

Tyler and I also got to make a kid table out at my in-laws place. Tyler's brother, Brian, is very talented at woodworking and building stuff, and I saw that he made one of these for his kids. From the moment I saw it I told Tyler that we just GOT to make one too! So, with Brian's expertise, tools, and supplies we were able to make one. Thank you so much for being so generous with your stuff! And of course, thank you Tyler for making me such a beautiful Mother's Day gift, I absolutely love it. :)

Jacob and Itzel's Big Day!

This one is for you Tyler! Miss you!

This is my first time to ever photograph a wedding, and I'm grateful that Jacob and Itzel took a chance on me! It was so much fun. I was really nervous! And although I didn't do an absolutely amazing job (I'm still a beginner), I think I got some really great shots! So, thank you Jacob and Itzel for letting me be apart of your special day. I wish you many happy years to come!

Lieutenant Payne

It happened!!!! Yes, Tyler is now officially a graduate and an officer! He graduated with his bachelors, masters, and commissioned into the U.S Army all in one day! I am so proud of my amazing husband and all that he has accomplished. Through all the classes, meetings, major assignments, capstone project, ROTC, and bishopric tasks, he has always put the Lord and his family first. And the thing about all of it is that he made it look so EASY! He was born a true leader, and has a gift for dealing with stress and always being positive about any situation. I love him so much and am so grateful that the Lord blessed me with a Moroni-like husband. He is a solider.

We packed up and headed out of College Station this week. It was defenatly a bittersweet moment. So many things have happened since my Dad first dropped me off at the Corps dorms. I found myself and my soul mate in College Station. I will never forget what I learned there and all the amazing friends I've made. Gig'em Ags!

Last Saturday my parents came to college station to celebrate mothers day with us. We went out to eat and played at the park. It was a great way to celebrate Mommies... we all had a blast. Love ya momma!

Static

Rachel and I were in the check-out line at Walmart last week and this elderly woman in line behind me gestured at Rachel's hair and said, "Looks like she found some static."
I giggled and said, "No, actually her hair always looks that."
She just looked at me very confused like and went on her way.

Well, I can tell you she didn't get it from me...

Jellies

Nana B. and I went to the Baby Gap about a month and a half ago to look for an Easter dress for lil' Rach.... and guess what I found!!!!!!!!!!!!!? JELLY SHOES! Yes, I'm in love. I remember wearing those things around everywhere when I was a kid, and LOOK they still have them. And they have gotten even cuter. :)Nana got Rachel two pairs... clear and pink. I know what you're thinking... goodness gracious, Converse and now Jellies!? haha, sorry, It's a curse.

It just so happened that Tyler and I went on a temple date last weekend, and I being the schemer that I am found a way to get to the woodlands for dinner... and as you may have guessed, the Baby Gap is in the Woodlands.... sneaky sneaky! And well... I saw orange and was sold on the spot. Tyler just rolls his eyes and says... Okay, that's it! Buy 'em and lets get outta here! That was just fine with me... I was complete, I had orange jellies in my hand, seriously, what else could I need and I can't find at a garage sale? hahaha!
